According to data from the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) initiative, approximately 83% of JCU's evaluated research fields were rated as "world-class" or higher. This is a significant achievement, highlighting leading expertise across 38 out of the 46 fields evaluated.
Economic Impact:
The university's research activities generate an estimated $827 million in economic impact for the state of Queensland.
Tropical & Environmental Science:
